Abstract The mechanical response of dual phase (DP) steel exhibits a complex dependence on the microstructure. chemical composition and microstructure characteristics phases have significant effects contrast between phases, which affects, not only strength ductility, but also anisotropic DP under strain path changes. In this work, extended dislocation-based models ferrite martensite are proposed used in finite element based representative volume approach to account for local phases. flow stress each is computed as function amount substitutional interstitial solute elements microstructural phase.
